Just curious, what unpopular opinions do you folks have that you'd like to share. I think that retards and people with serious heriditary diseases should be sterilized and unborn babies with said conditions should be aborted. This would require you to put a line down on "serious" diseases and what counts as a mental disorder and what-not; but you get the point. |

Let's see: 1) Nixon was not nearly as bad a President as people think he was. 2) Universal health care - while good - is not a fundamental human right. 3) There are no human rights. 4) It is sometimes acceptable for a state to violate international law. 5) Military tribunals are fine. 6) The war in Afghanistan is justified. 7) While the initial invasion of Iraq is NOT justified, the occupation/reconstruction were. 8) Targeted killing is acceptable. |

I think Metallica are awful, that seems to be pretty unpopular. I don't think the mentally handicapped or physically disabled should reproduce (if its genetic). |

Polygamy and incest should both be legal. Age of consent should be 14. Porn in which all parties are consenting or where no one was hurt (snuff porn where they want it, loli/shota porn) should not be illegal. Euthanasia should be offered as part of universal health care to anyone who wants it. If someone wants to be killed by someone else the other person should be allowed to kill them without legal repercussions. |

I also think that assisted suicide should be legal and available for anyone who wants it. Suicide isn't something we should pity people for; it's their choice. They didn't get shot walking down the street. |

I don't think she chose to lose her husband to whom she was married with for over thirty years to die from cancer, and, I don't think she'd be in the right state of mind to make a momentary decision that would be irreversible. Hitler was democraticly elected. People seem to always forget this. Suicide counseling is fine, help is fine, encouraging people to 'hang in there' is fine; but when they kick the chair away they shouldn't be seen as a martyr or a victim. The "It's selfish" bullshit does nothing but piss me off. Selfishness is rarely fucking demonized in anything besides when people talk about suicide. I would love to have the opportunity to die painlessly and of my own will, and so fucking what if that's selfish? Why does it matter whether something is "selfish" or not? |

You know what else is selfish? Owning a fucking computer and paying for an internet connection to post in a fucking forum when that money could feed starving children in the third world. Sell all of the things you own that are not absolutely essential to living, and then talk to other people about selfishness.

Well, it would mean that I would end up in an orphanage and have an almost abysmal future. Also: Hitler is about as "democratically elected" as feng shui is "an ancient science". See: It's only democracy if you're allowed to select freely, without coercion, sabotage and threats involved. |
