So who is looking forward to this game? I seem to be facing a dilemma, the release date is on my girlfriend's birthday D: |

It looks great. I almost want to get another 360 for it. (My xbox is fucked). I actually downloaded Daggerfall a few days ago but I wasn't a fan of the gameplay. Loved Oblivion. |

Oblivion was amazing! I bought it on PC, it actually used to be rated T when I bought it haha. I got Rick into it a little bit, but the problem with PC is that sometimes you just end up DLing a SHITTON of mods and you can never truly enjoy the original game experience after that. And you should! here you can get an old 360 for around 50-100 bucks which isn't much if your going to be spending dozens and dozens of hours immersed in Skyrim. |

I played Oblivion a while ago but I do prefer Fallout 3. It looks pretty good so far so I'll play the shit out this game for sure. Edited by Liam, 31 May 2011, 12:31 PM.

Morrowind is where its at! I enjoyed that game quite a bit more than Oblivion, but that is probably just because a game like that was never really made before with that level of quality (with the exception of an insane amount of exploitable bugs). I honestly think Skyrim is looking to be one of the best ever made if it lives up to its expectations. |

Oblivion was an excellent technical achievement (especially accounting for mods), but Morrowind was by far the greater piece of world-building. I wish Bethesda hadn't killed the Morrowind-with-Oblivion-engine remake mod... |

Hey, don't forget about Deus Ex: Human Revolution. It's just after Battlefield 3 on my must-buy list. But yeah, Skyrim's probably going to be nice. I really liked Oblivion, especially the Shivering Isles expansion. |

I've gotten kinda behind on games, having just gotten around to Fallout: New Vegas. But Skyrim's definitely gonna be a priority. Morrowind and Oblivion are both among the games I've sunk the most hours of my life that I will never get back. |

Deus Ex looks interesting but I just don't know if its going to meet expectations or not. Haha I have spent most of my video game life playing Pokemon, Runescape, World of Warcraft, Age of empires and Halo. xDD |

I'm looking forward to not having the same dull landscape everywhere in Skyrim. In Oblivion, everywhere just started looking the same and I think having only one designer for the dungeons was a serious flaw. Eight designers should be a huge improvement and should add a ton of diversity to the game. The thing that makes games boring to me is when things just start repeating and the gameplay just becomes something similar to a job at a production line. |
