Posts: 136 Group: Members Member #94 Joined: 30-May 2011	Oblivion was amazing! I bought it on PC, it actually used to be rated T when I bought it haha. I got Rick into it a little bit, but the problem with PC is that sometimes you just end up DLing a SHITTON of mods and you can never truly enjoy the original game experience after that. And you should! here you can get an old 360 for around 50-100 bucks which isn't much if your going to be spending dozens and dozens of hours immersed in Skyrim.

I enjoyed that game quite a bit more than Oblivion, but that is probably just because a game like that was never really made before with that level of quality (with the exception of an insane amount of exploitable bugs). I honestly think Skyrim is looking to be one of the best ever made if it lives up to its expectations.

Posts: 47 Group: Members Member #86 Joined: 30-May 2011	Oblivion was an excellent technical achievement (especially accounting for mods), but Morrowind was by far the greater piece of world-building. I wish Bethesda hadn't killed the Morrowind-with-Oblivion-engine remake mod...

In Oblivion, everywhere just started looking the same and I think having only one designer for the dungeons was a serious flaw. Eight designers should be a huge improvement and should add a ton of diversity to the game. The thing that makes games boring to me is when things just start repeating and the gameplay just becomes something similar to a job at a production line.
