Left wing protests what they perceive to be corporate influence over government, conservatives call them communists and cops beat them up. The difference between the right and left solutions is that the left wants to ban the presence of money in government so that it's no longer the rich having the most powerful votes, the right wants to ban the government's power to do things which creates the incentive for corporations to try and influence the government in their favor in the first place. The diagnosis is generally the same- the proposed solutions are where the differences occur.
