Honestly, I think it's gotten such a cult following, because right now we're going through such a hard time as a country and as a culture, and the idea of a world where everyone gets a happy ending is an appealing concept; it reflects their innermost desires. I'm not a huge hard core fan like some people, but I do enjoy it, and I find it relaxes me when I'm feeling depressed. Do you like it? Why or why not?

I can understand why Batman: The Animated Series had a following because people grew up with it. However, a series about ponies made for little girls which gets a large male fanbase is something I'll never understand. However, I think most cartoons should die in a fire save for things like Futurama Family Guy South Park etc. and I HATE the anime culture...so that's a pretty positive review coming from me.

Plus, I have it in my head that watching it would somehow make me a pedophile. >__> I didn't have interest in My Little Pony when I was a kid and I'm not interested in it as an adult. All the kids shows that play when my nephew watches when I'm watching him are all shows that give me a rather large head ache. I'd imagine that My Little Pony would do the same.

Posts: 673 Group: Members Member #875 Joined: 21-Aug 2011	I watched the first episode, and whilst it may be slightly wittier and more clever than most children's cartoons nowadays, I still fail to understand how fully grown adults could really enjoy it, unless of course it was some kind of massive in joke, but i doubt it since my brother considers himself a "bronie" and he claims to derive actual entertainment value from the show.
