Poland Well I think the four top favorites are pretty close to each other. Poland could surprise in my opinion. They have the home soil advantage and they a few good players. And yeah I do hope that Italy or England get either embarrassed by Germany or they are knocked out in the group stage already. I can't stand them... And I'm pretty sure they do not have what it takes to win the title.

They have a few good players from the German Bundesliga. Since the Bundesliga is internationally usually underestimated and not watched, most of the good Polish players are unknown like Lewandowski. Plus the host teams normally perform quite well. As for Italy... Soccer in Italy is too a large extent Mafia business. Currently there is a "new" corruption scandal (like always...). They are divers, cheaters, cowards, machos and they play a really boring defensive style... And many of the players are old fucks. I agree that they are better than England, but I don't see them lift the title.

You have to give them credit for the fact that they are efficient (which England for example not is). And they take advantage of every loophole in the game such as diving, arguing with the refree, provoking fouls through insults and of course playing for time. They are cunts and nobody aside from themselves actually really likes them. Their national soccer team actually reflects the worst things about Italian mentality. The picture would be complete if Berlusconi himself would be their head coach.

And that says something... Currently watching Russia vs Czech Republic. Russia could be a surprise this time. They seem to be pretty good.
