Oh my fucking god I never thought I'd be shedding a tear over the adventures of an animated plush toy, I am dead serious. This movie is pure emotions, you got love, hate, despair, laughter, depression, sadness, happiness, optimism - everything.
Go watch it now you stupid sacks of shit!!!

Believe me, that's just the trailer cliches a-la "Rob Schneider is derp-de-derp": the music stopping, the trailer moment, the most mainstream and unfunny jokes pre-revieled so that the morons knew in which places to laugh - no, the movie itself isn't like the trailer at all, trust me, it's worth a watch. It's Seth McFarline for fudge's sake.

Yar doesn't have much credibility since denying that drugs cause chemical changes in the brain that are statistically linked to violent activity. But I'm a libertarian capitalist fascist fuck, so you know I'm trustworthy. I saw Ted today, and yeah. It was funny as all fuck. See it.

The themes and character development weren't original at all, but y'know, for a succesful comedy in 2012, any character development at all is a good sign, in my opinion. Definitely worth shelling out good cash to see.

Superpig is just mad that his Mom and Dad hated him and sold him as fucking boy whore to the pedophiles that lived in the neighborhood for two bucks.

But on the plus side superpig at least you know how to suck a dick even better then fucking Tara Patrick.

How was that poor character development - Ted is a very original character. Not because he's a teddy bear and he's rude and vulgar - that's just a comedic element - but because he's the only character who's thinking outside the box there. He is a drunk, he is a stoner - and yet he doesn't fall under the cliche characteristics common for such characters. In any other movie he would've been a burden for his friend what's-his-name, but in this one he is really helping him. He acts like a real person, he has good in him and bad in him, he's not a bad guy or a good guy, he is a very real person - btw that's what I liked about this movie, that it was so real: like, you know, a talking teddy bear is a big thing in this universe, and then everyone stops caring, and Ted is like a washed-up celebrity, it was all very realistic.

Yes, magical talking teddy bears are very realistic, Yar. Go smoke another bowl and don't talk. Bad ideas come out when you talk.

While I'm all for having things put in my mouth against my will, words are not one of them. I said unoriginal, not poor. It was cliche'd, and predictable, not poor.

Very little outside-the-box thinking happened anywhere. Where things were going (strictly speaking plot-wise) only were very predictable throughout the thing.

Did you miss the first half of the movie? I can't think you missed out on the

And yes, I will hold the 'drugs-are-harmless' position against you every time I speak to you, because it's stupid and annoying. Almost as stupid and annoying as your Russian accent.

A stoner teddy bear, Mark Wallberg and Mila Kunis? Hmm the only thing that could make this thing interesting is a chance to see Mila Kunis titties. Is there a scene in which we get to see her in a bikini? If not, fuck this movie.

The teddy bear is an irresonsible, immature and hedonistic piece of shit that constantly gets the main character in trouble. You don't have to be a genius to figure that out, because it can already be seen in the trailer. The plot of this movie is anything but original. How many movies have there already been in which the protaganist has to decide between his immature shit pal from the past and his girlfriend? A million times. The only difference is here that this shitty generic immature pal from the past is a teddy bear. How fucking funny and original...

@Poodie- original, no, and I've said as much from the start, but take my word, it is a funny movie. You just have to go into it without wanting to hate it.
