I was forced to read this book when I was a kid and didn't like it at all, I recently re-read it and it really spoke to me. Considering that it's on a lot of reading lists for children I was wondering if anyone else here has read it, If so, what do you think of it?

My only issue with the book is that it should be a lot longer, the characters and setting aren't very fleshed out and could benefit from an extra ~50 pages.
I'm not a businessman, I'm a business, man.

All I remember is he was apprehensive, his friend wanted a smack, and that he rides a sled to the revelling next city.
We'll have a real wild time.
