What would you do if you won first division in your nations lottery (assuming you have one)? I don't have too much of an interesting one. But I would personally buy a house in which me and a few of my closest mates would live, and possibly a second apartment just for myself, and pay off all my student loans. I would probably end up buying a new keyboard also, and a video camera and start making a few youtube videos I've been meaning to make. I would still continue to study/work part time as I've always done haha. |

I dunno, I never really wanted much money. I guess I'l;l just buy the shit I want (PC, games, that kind of shit), an education (restarting because I'm pretty fucking stupid with science despite my enthusiasm for the field) and after that I might just give the rest to my mother because I have no need for it afterwards. |

Winning the lottery here means winning ~10 mil EUR. I'd buy a normal house in London and put nice stuff in it, put 10% of the rest of the money in a bank and use the 90% to buy gold. I would travel to France, Belgium, the Netherlands and other countries at medium costs. I wouldn't spent money on shit like expensive clothes, watches, cars, TVs, etc. I'll try to live my entire life without getting a job. Edited by Nemesis, 12 Aug 2012, 07:18 AM.

BUY MORE LOTTERY TICKETS DERPTY DERP!!!111 but speaking seriously, I'd probably quit the job and buy myself a farmhouse somewhere in the middle of nowhere, where I'd bring a dozen of hippie chicks and make them all my wives. Edited by Yar, 14 Aug 2012, 02:48 PM.

Put it towards making the rest of my life have as few economic worries as possible, so I wouldn't go spending it on tons of shit. |

It really depends how much. If I won around 30 million, I'd buy a nice house and car; pay off my parents mortgage and give the the main members of extended family anywhere around 1 to $1.5 million each. I'd then put the rest of the money in the bank and live off the interest. Once I have everything set up, I'd then travel the world. Edited by Taelôk, 15 Aug 2012, 04:33 AM.

Finish school, buy a boat, set off for international waters, live off the investments I'd make with the rest. |

The multi-state lottery here is up to 362 million, that's about 200 million after taxes. Shit, with that kind of money I'd give my parents 30 million each (a mil or two to a few close relatives), and then travel the world and learn the various martial art styles as best I can. If I could, I'd try living with the Northen Chinese monks and learn Northern Shoalin Kung Fu. After all that is said and done, I'd decide which country I liked most and live there. Possibly becoming a real life Batman/vigilante. |

Buy some stuff I want, but nothing over the top. For example: Refurbish my room, make it acoustic, get a better desk, bed, chair, T.V. etc, the obvious stuff. Then, I'll get the strongest PC on the market and a big ass screen, and put several thousands aside to upgrade it when needed. After I'm done with the gamer shit, I'll buy a kick ass Fender stratocaster, a big, good amp, some effect pedals, and get whatever good acoustic and classical guitar there are on the market, I'm not too picky when it comes to that. Now, to more serious stuff: Pay for the best education I can get, and save up enough so I can keep my house, pay the bills, buy food, etc. And that's it. I don't want to do anything but learning and doing the shit I like to do, fuck having a career. Edited by Blargazaur, 16 Aug 2012, 12:50 AM.

Actually, scratch that, I'd donate $300'000 to a foundation that works with people who have unrealistic expectations - like obsessive ideas about winning the lottery.

Buy gold and some other solid stores of value for when those millions of dollars can buy two candies at a convenience store and get a gigantic, luxury RV and live out the rest of my days driving around the country. If I got through Canada to my satisfaction, then on to the U.S., and Europe if I was still in search of places to go. |
